-Assisted producers at the national high school cheerleading championship

-Responsible for shooting and casting ‘CheerSafe’ Promo

-Assisted in media coverage for the ESPN broadcast in Orlando, Florida

-Communicated with coaches and teams in a face paced environment

-Gathered team information and interviewed coaches for the talent to use for commentary during the national broadcast.

 

Intern in Sports Broadcasting Department (August 2013-Janurary 2014)

Channel 8 WVLT-TV Knoxville, TN

-Gained experience in video editing, writing, website work, the importance of social media in journalism, camera work, interviewing and standup skills.

- Demonstrated communication skills with subjects on specific stories.

- Proficient in using Final Cut Pro, Edius, Word Press, INews, Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point). 

 

Anchor/ Reporter for UT Today (August 2013-May 2014)

Channel 10 WBIR/ TVC, University of Tennessee

-Produced one package a week that would be aired on the weekly broadcast on the NBC affiliate station Channel 10 WBIR in Knoxville.

-Produced a sports story that was aired on a local news channel in Chattanooga, TN.

-Learned to meet a weekly deadline on assigned stories.

-Learned the importance of using social media while reporting

 

Athletic Instructor Knoxville Twisters Cheerleading (September 2011-September 2013)

Head Coach, 2011 and 2012

-Managed own all-star team of 20+ athletes between the ages of 6-15.

-Gained leadership skills to lead a team

-Awarded Coach of the Month at a national competition.
